MUMBAI: Veteran superstar Amitabh Bachchan on the occasion of his 47th wedding anniversary to Jaya Bachchan shared the story wedding with everyone!
The actor via image sharing site, Instagram, posted many pictures in a form for a collage from his wedding ceremony and also revealed a few things people were to this date unaware of regarding what led to their marriage!

Bachchan mentioned in the caption of his post about his film 'Zanjeer' which came out in the year 1973. It had Jaya Bachchan starring alongside him.
He wrote, "Had decided if Zanjeer would succeed, we would along with a few friends go to London for the first time .. My Father asked who you going with? When I told him who, he said you must marry her before you go .. else you don't go... So .. I obeyed .. !!"
In the images shared by the actor, you can see the couple sitting in the mandap in proper wedding attire, doing the wedding rituals.
The couple got married in the year 1973 on June 3.

They starred in films like Chupke Chupke, Silsila, Mili, Abhiman and so on before they got married. The couple has thereafter starred in films post their marriage as well like, 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham', 'Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna' and 'Ki And Ka.'
