MUMBAI: Birthdays are always special for everybody but the void that gets created in a child's heart after losing a parent can never be filled with any amount of happiness. Actress Janhvi Kapoor feels the same and misses her late mother Sridevi as she celebrates her 23rd birthday on Friday.
While interacting with media on Thursday after having an intimate dinner at sister Anshula Kapoor's place, she recalled how her mother always made her feel pampered on her special day and dad Boney Kapoor makes her feel the same every day even now.

She said, "They would decorate my room with balloons and make everything feel special, be it the conversations on the couch or the cake-cutting. Mom would make me feel pampered. Dad does it every day even now."
Sridevi died on 24th February 2018 and ever since then, not only her family but the whole Bollywood also feel incomplete without the first female superstar of India.
For her birthday, Janhvi has no big plans instead she was supposed to work but could not do it as the shooting got canceled. She said, "I was supposed to work on my birthday, but the shoot got canceled. I am consumed by my passion for acting, which gives meaning to my life. I feel like I am wasting time if not investing in my craft."
On the work front, Janhvi will be next seen in 'RoohiAfzana' alongside Rajkummar Rao and is all set to portray the life of IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena in the biopic 'The Kargil Girl'. She also has several other big projects in her kitty like 'Dostana 2' and Karan Johar's periodical drama 'Takht' which also stars Vicky Kaushal, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Alia Bhatt.

However, none of the movies is a typical love story which Kapoor is willing to do. She said, "I want to do a love story as I am a romantic at heart and tend to romanticize things in my head. I haven’t had a chance to do another love story after Dhadak. I want to do the montage cuts and love songs again."
