MUMBAI: The sports drama '83' has been one of the most anticipated films of the year! As the anticipation rises amongst the fans, Ranveer Singh, who is starring in the film as Kapil Dev fever fails to get the public more hyped up by posting teasers from the sets of the forthcoming film.
The actor recently posted an image where he reprised the real-life historic moment of Kapil Dev lifting the World Cup trophy from the year 1983. The moment is considered historic because it was India's first win in the cricket WorldCup, it was called the Prudential cup at that time. Ranveer Singh is seen lifting the trophy with extreme contentment and joy in his face, exact how it was done by Kapil Dev.
The film features a star cast of Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Jiiva, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Sahil Khattar, Chirag Patil, Adinath Kothare and so on. Deepika Padukone will also be seen in the character of Romi Dev in the film, the wife of Kapil Dev.
