NEW DELHI: India's coronavirus count has gone beyond the 2.75 lakh-mark, as per the recent figures updated in the website of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Total cases reported from all over the states were near to 10,000 in the last 24 hours i.e Tuesday, June 9.
There has been a spike in the death toll of the nation as well as 274 individuals died of the virus in the past day. The total fatality count is 7,745 in India now.

The active case count due to the virus also experienced an increase as there are now 1,33,632 cases i.e. 48% of the total cases. Apart from this, the recovery rate has been positive to as 1.35 lakh individuals have recovered from the rapidly spreading virus and have been discharged from the medical centres.
Maharashtra is the worst affected state and it also became the first-ever state from India to report more than 90,000 cases. The capital city, Mumbai itself comprises of over 50,000 cases. The death toll is also at 3,289.

The national capital, Delhi became the 3rd state to have more than 30,000 cases within it. As many as 1,366 individuals were tested positive for the virus.
