NEW DELHI: The elderly women protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) at Shaheen Bagh took a decision that no protester will be allowed to sit for more than four hours. This is their preventive measure against the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

They have further decided not to include any children or any aged person to participate in their sit-in and this will be marked as a 'silent protest', hence, there will be no announcement and no use of microphones there.

This precaution came after PM Modi addressed the nation regarding the deadly virus that is increasing the infected toll each passing day. He has appealed to people to stay at home as much as possible and also has asked his countrymen to follow 'Janata Curfew' on Sunday which is a curfew by the public and for the public.

These precautions, however, are not adequate to save oneself from this pandemic.
