CHANDIGARH: This year's most beloved Bigg Boss contestant, Shehnaaz Gill's grandmother has unfortunately been hospitalised. Her father Santokh Singh Sukh is very active on the social media app, Instagram and likes to update her daughter's fans about her life.
He took to Instagram to make a post about his mother, i.e. the paternal grandmother of Shehnaaz. He wrote in this post that Shehnaaz's grandmother has been hospitalised owing to liver problems. He also mentioned how he hoped she would get well as soon as possible. In the caption he wrote, "“My mother, hospital mein hai liver mein problem ho gayi hai God jaldi thik kar do." (My mother is in the hospital as she developed problems in her liver. God, please cure her soon.)

It was quite apparent in the reality TV show Bigg Boss that Shehnaaz is quite close to her daadi. There were numerous moments where the Punjabi singer cum actress would speak about her and claim that she is extremely hilarious in person. She often told the rest of the housemates stories about her grandmother.
Gill became one of the most entertaining contestants from the show because of her candid nature. Her bond with TV superstar and winner of the show, Sidharth Shukla was also highly liked by the audience and developed a quick fan following and earned them the name 'Sidnaaz'.

The duo also starred in a music video together once the show was over. It was based for the song 'Bula Dunga' by Darshan Rawal.
