NEW YORK: Let us put a wide smile on your face! There is a possibility for a 'Joker' sequel where Joaquin Phoenix will reprise the role of Arthur Fleck and Todd Phillips will put on his director's hat. YAY!
The Joker actor recently revealed that much before the release of the film, he and Todd used to discuss the sequel of their film. Joaquin said, "Long before the release or before we had any idea if it would be successful, we talked about sequels. In the second or third week of shooting, I was like: 'Todd, can you start working on a sequel? There's way too much to explore.' It was kind of in jest - but not really!"

From a time being, there were speculations whether the audience will witness the magic of 'Joker' once again on the silver screen. Earlier in an interview, Phoenix in a statement shut down all the sequel rumors. He said, "I wouldn't just do a sequel just because the first movie is successful, that's ridiculous," and this disappointed all the fans.
Now, reports state that the actor-director duo is "likely to reteam" for a sequel to their superhit psychological thriller and we cannot keep calm! So, rejoice all you 'Joker' fans as anytime soon, you might be booking tickets for part two of DC's super successful film.
The DC criminal thriller has become the highest R-rated grosser of all times and also has received much critical acclaim. The movie became the fourth DC movie to cross the USD 1 billion mark and if its sequel is made, we don't know how many more records it will break. For now, all we can say is we are too excited and the anticipation has been increased amongst the audience.
