MUMBAI: No matter how sad you are that you won't be seeing Akshay Kumar in the sequel to his super hit horror-comedy 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa', Tabu in the film has to get you excited. That too in a never-seen-before avatar!
Yes, director Anees Bazmee, who always wanted to work with the 'Cheeni Kum' star and has finally got the opportunity, revealed that the audience will be seeing the superstar in an altogether different role.

Terming it not a special appearance but an important role, Bazmee said, "I so wanted to work with Tabu and this role was apt for her. I offered the role, which I felt will suit her stature as a performer. It is not a special appearance, but an important part. It is too early to talk about it in detail. My attempt is to present Tabu in a different avatar, something which the audience has not seen before. She is a wonderful actor and she can do anything."
Do you know what's even more exciting? Tabu will be starring in the recreated version of "Ami Je Tomar", a song from the original movie on which Vidya Balan performed.
Talking about the film, Anees confidently said that 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' will be entertaining as all his movies are. He said, "This is a completely different film and a story. It has elements of horror and comedy and this is new to me. I am enjoying it. My films are always entertaining and so will it be. A director should have his own language while making a film. The audience is intelligent they come to know what is new and what is copied."
The Akshay Kumar starrer was such a hit that it is obvious that the makers of the second part will feel pressurized. On the same, the director of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' said, "There is pressure with every film. With this film, the pressure is a bit more as the first one was loved very much by the audience. You forget about the pressure while shooting as you want to make a good film at the end of the day. There are expectations from the film and to live up to that is a little difficult. We all are working with honesty and giving our best."

Starring Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan in the main lead, this upcoming sequel will be releasing on July 31st.
