MUMBAI: The trailer for 'Guns Of Banaras' has finally made it's way onto the social media. A 1-minute teaser of the same had dropped online on 5 February 2020. The movie stars Karann Nath, who is the son of Rakesh Nath, a leading film producer. It is the remake of the Dhanush starrer film 'Polladhavan' from the Tamil film industry. However, this is not Karan's Bollywood debut as he has previously starred as a child artist and shared the silver screen with Anil Kapoor and Sri Devi in 'Mr. India'.
The trailer revealed that Karan is playing the role of 'Guddu Shukla', a young but aggressive localite, hailing from the city of Banaras.He is a part of a group called 'Guns of Banaras'. The beginning of the trailer is quite masaledar yet, mellow as we see 'Guddu Shukla' trying to woo a girl from his college. Things however take a major turn, when guddu lands himself in trouble by messing with a local goon having political relations. The trailer also features heavy action sequences, gore and blood.
The movie will mark the debut of Shekhar Suri as a filmmaker into the Bollywood industry. He said,"As a filmmaker it’s a great opportunity to break into a bigger market. The film revolves around a bunch of youngsters from Benaras who get embroiled in the gun culture. It also has a strong love story laced in. The film’s production got delayed a little but is back on track and will hit the screens this summer."
The movie will hit the theatres on February 28th and also has Nathalia Kaur, Ganesh Venkatram, Shilpa Shirodkar playing major roles.
