Kanika Kapoor Finally COVID-19 Free?

LUCKNOW: Singing sensation from Bollywood, Kanika Kapoor who caught coronavirus during her trip from London, was detected negative in her 6th testing for COVID-19.

Professor R.K. Dhiman, the director of SPGI (Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences), Lucknow said, "Her reports are now negative but we will wait for one more test before she is allowed to go home." Kapoor was under treatment in this facility in Lucknow.

However, only if her second test also comes out negative, then she will be allowed to leave for her home this week.

After her visit from London, Kanika attended three major social events in the city even after being infected with the highly contagious virus. She was even instructed by the authorities to self isolate in her home. There are 3 FIRs filed against the singer on the charges of negligence as she attended the functions and put so many peoples lives at risk.

She has been booked under Sections 188, 269, and 270 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Sarojini Nagar police station in the city.

The FIR was lodged as a complaint by the CMO (Chief Medical Officer) got filed in Lucknow.

She became the first and only celebrity from Bollywood to have gotten the novel coronavirus. She also revealed that she was unaware of the coronavirus infection until she tested positive. She had returned from London on 9 March 2020 and got admitted and tested on 20 March 2020.

She was finally detected of not having the virus after her 5 consecutive tests which all turned out to be positive.
