MUMBAI: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan's superhit song "Mere Angne Mein" will now be having a reprised version starring Asim Riaz and Jacqueline Fernandez. The duo will bring this Holi song a little early as "Mere Angne Mein 2.0" will be releasing on 8th March ahead of the colorful festival on 10th March.
The production house of the upcoming song is T-series and it has dropped a video featuring the leads teasing the fans to get ready to groove on the number. Sharing the video of the Bigg Boss 13 runner-up along with his "princess", the caption read, "This year, Holi comes early! Get ready to say, mere angne mein.! Releasing on 8th March.
#MereAngneMein2.0."

Jacqueline looks gorgeous in the avatar of a princess whereas Asim in his white suit looks dapper. Riaz considers the song "my world of fairy tale" where Fernandez is her princess.
Talking about the song and getting paired up opposite Riaz for the first time, the 'Judwaa 2' actress said, "I am super excited to be working with Asim Riaz for the first time. The music video is going to be a visual treat for everyone. We’re looking forward to everyone seeing it. I really loved working on this, because it was a passion project for me."

The song is a folk number crooned by Neha Kakkar and composed by Tanishk Bagchi. Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao, who helmed the recreated version of "Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi", will direct the music video.

While Jacqueline is an established Bollywood actress, Asim Riaz rose to fame after his Bigg Boss 13 stint. Being an unknown face, Riaz emerged as a tough competition to popular faces like Sidharth Shukla and Rashami Desai and became the first runner-up of the controversial show.
