MUMBAI: We have witnessed so many times Ranveer Singh getting trolled for his outrageous dressing sense. But this time, it's Rani Mukerji, who donned an outfit similar to Singh, is getting trolled for copying him. But, was it her fault or Sabyasachi's as he was the designer of both the outfits.
Social media cannot ignore anything especially when it comes to fashion! Every time, any two celebs wear a similar outfit, netizens are always there as the fashion police to either compare them or troll them. Recently, Rani Mukerji wore a Sabyasachi outfit for the promotions of her upcoming movie 'Mardaani 2'. However, fans could not ignore the dress's striking similarity to the outfit of Band Baaja Baarat actor that he wore on the occasion of his first anniversary.
The two outfits are exactly the same except Rani carried the outfit with a dupatta whereas Ranveer donned it with a bandhgala. But what one should notice is the designer's name. Yes, Sabyasachi was the mastermind behind both the outfits! So, was it fair on the designer's part to create these same outfits for two events that took place back to back? On the professional front, Rani will be seen in the sequel of her hit film 'Mardaani' and the second part will be releasing on 13th December. Ranveer, who recently celebrated the first-year anniversary with wifey Deepika Padukone, will be seen in Kapil Dev's biopic '83 alongside her real-life wife. This Kabir Khan directorial will be releasing on 10th April 2020.
