MUMBAI: Bollywood heartthrob Varun Dhawan has come up with a noble decision to provide food for all the doctors and healthcare staff who are working day and night to battle against the novel coronavirus outbreak in the country.
Varun took to his social media handle to declare that he will sponsor the meals for all the medical experts and doctors who are doing their best to help fight the coronavirus. He also said that apart from the health sector he will provide meals to the poverty-stricken people.

His post said, "With each passing day of being locked down at home, my heart goes out to all those who have no home in this time of crisis. And so this week I've committed to providing meals for the poor who are without homes or jobs."
He also mentioned, "I also have deep admiration for all those who are risking their lives by working on the frontlines. I've committed to providing meals to doctors and medical staff at hospitals. All meals are provided through the Taj Public Service Welfare Trust. It's a small step. But during a crisis like this, we have to make every step count. I will continue to do what best I can."
"It is a long battle and we have to fight it together. Finding solutions is the only way forward," he concluded.

On the work front, Varun's last release 'Street Dancer 3' which came out January 2020 was a box-office success. He will now be seen opposite Sara Ali Khan, in the remake of 'Coolie No. 1'. The original was a 1997 hit which stared the superstar couple, Govinda and Karishma Kapoor.
