MUMBAI: The trio Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and director Remo D'Souza are reuniting after their hit dance film 'ABCD 2'. Their upcoming movie 'Street Dancer 3D' has finally gotten its trailer release date.
The trailer for the movie will have a digital release on 18th December. Earlier the makers were going to unveil the trailer on 12th December, which was announced on the birthday of producer Bhushan Kumar (27th November), but it got postponed because of some VFX detailing. Director Remo D'Souza confirmed this delay and told a publication, "There’s lots of VFX and 3D stuff is happening and right now we are all working on that. I am keen to show the trailer to everybody and have been working round the clock to get it completed by then. It will be a proper two-three minute trailer. You can expect some amazing, never-seen-before dances in it – and something very special which I cannot reveal right now."
The trailer will be attached to Salman Khan's much-awaited movie 'Dabangg 3' that will be releasing in cinemas on 20th December. It was also reported that the director and producer of 'Street Dancer 3D' are keen on having the superstar Khan at the trailer launch event and we have to see if Salman gives a nod on his presence.
Besides Dhawan and Shraddha, the movie also stars Dilbar girl Nora Fatehi, Aparshakti Khurrana and Shakti Mohan in prominent roles. Shraddha Kapoor, however, was not the first choice for the female lead of the movie. Katrina Kaif was signed alongside Varun Dhawan but the Chikni Chameli had to opt out because of date clashes as she was busy shooting for 'Bharat'. Then came Kapoor to the rescue of the makers.
