MUMBAI: It was surprising to see Kareena Kapoor Khan in a special role in Irrfan Khan starrer 'Angrezi Medium'. The film is totally dominated by its leading male and his on-screen daughter Radhika Madan, so, why did Bebo gave a thumbs up to its makers and agreed to play the role of a cop?
We are not going to answer this question by our own conjectures as Kareena herself has answered it stating two reasons. The first reason is being the brilliant actor Irrfan Khan and the second is because she always wanted to play a London cop but never got any such role because of being a mainstream actor.

She said, "I am playing a special part in the film. I wanted to work with Irrfan and that’s the reason I took up this role. It’s difficult for a mainstream actress to play cop, and we have seen actresses playing a cop in the entire film, but this role I picked up because I wanted to play a cop from London."
She further talked about the promotions of film that won't be possible as Irrfan is battling with cancer. However, Kareena is confident that the story speaks for itself and is enough to attract the audience. She said, "The film will promote itself. Giving interviews and promoting films on reality shows is all an excuse for the producers and sponsors. People loved the trailer and the audience will go to watch the film. That’s the power of the film and story."
The movie is a heartwarming story of a father and his daughter and showcases to what extent parents could go for their children. It's funny, emotional and surely heart-touching, just like the original movie of the franchise 'Hindi Medium'.
