NEW DELHI: Congress' Interim President set up a five-member delegation to file a report on Delhi violence. The delegation visited the northeast Delhi, went to the GTB hospital where they interacted with the victims and their families.
Delhi has not seen this type of terror for years that resulted in deaths of over 42 people and over 200 got injured. As the supporters and the opponents of the new Citizenship bill clashed, a part of Delhi is burning since Sunday causing damage to a lot of property.
Sonia Gandhi on Friday constituted the five-member delegation comprising party general Secretary Mukul Wasnik, Delhi in-charge Shaktisinh Gohil, former Union Minister Tariq Anwar, Haryana unit chief Kumari Selja, and Mahila Congress chief Sushmita Dev.

Their task was to "assess the situation emanating from the mindless violence in riot affected areas and its after-effects and submit a detailed report to the Congress President immediately" as the party General Secretary K.C. Venugopal released issues.
