MUMBAI: Considering the situation that the whole world is in right now, celebrated couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma appealed to people to stay home so as to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus. They requested their countrymen to follow the 21 days lockdown orders diligently as we can only break the chain of the virus if we stand together.
Sharing a 51-second-long video, Virat captioned, "These are testing times and we need to wake up to the seriousness of this situation. Please let us all follow what's been told to us and stand united please. It's a plea to everyone."

The couple can e seen urging to people to stay indoors and follow social distancing strictly for the next 21 days as these are the crucial times that will decide the fate of the country regarding the pandemic COVID-19. Earlier also, the coupe posted a video of themselves making the people understand the complexities that the whole world is in due to a deadly virus.
"As our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji just announced, the whole country is going into a lockdown starting midnight today for the next 21 days. My request will remain the same, PLEASE STAY AT HOME. Social distancing is the only cure for COVID-19," Kohli tweeted after PM Narendra Modi announced complete lockdown all over the country for the next 21 days.

India has reported 562 positive cases so far with the death toll being risen to 10. Globally, the COVID-19 has affected more than 4 lakh people and has claimed over 15,000 lives.
