PALLEKELE: West Indies' all-rounder Keiron Pollard became the first player to have featured in 500 T20 matches. He created the history in the shortest over international cricket when he took the field for the first T20I here against Sri Lanka on Wednesday.
The second in the list is Dwayne Bravo with 453 matches to have featured so far. He is followed by Chris Gayle in the list as he featured in 404 T20 matches.
Before the start of the first T20I against Sri Lanka, the team congratulated Pollard on this landmark. He was also presented with a special jersey on the big occasion.
