Earlier the TVs in the markets were only from some particular brands like Sansui, Onida, LG and many more. But ever since the TVs has gone smart i.e Android OS, wifi connectivity, smart features, a number of companies are entering the TV making business.
It all started in June 2014, Smart OS for TV was introduced and then its Nexus Player launch device unveiled that October.
Then soon enough companies like Sony and Sharp started adapting this OS and termed those TVs as Smart TVs.
Now after Xiaomi launched their smart TV and became a major part of the TV market companies like Motorola and even One Plus has entered the same.
Motorola recently came up with their own series of Smart televisions available exclusively on Flipkart.
Motorola also revealed the features of the Smart LED TVs they are offering.
Now coming to what One Plus is planning.
One Plus TV logo confirmed:
One plus has recently confirmed the Name and Logo of the televisions. It was of no surprise that the name is "Oneplus TV".
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has also announced that the "OnePlus TV" will be launching next month first in India, He also said they are working to launch the TV in North America, Europe, and China “as soon as they establish partnerships with most of the local and regional content providers".
OnePlus is planning to take over the market by its combination of Quality and OS. Let's see if they bring something like Oxygen OS in their TVs too.
