Originated in the Chinese city of Wuhan, the deadly coronavirus has now spread to over 80 countries-- infecting more than 95,000, and killing over 3,200 globally. With a stable rise in infected cases, countries are striving to implement extraordinary measures to contain the spread.

Panic is the norm of the day as people rush out to hoard up on face masks and hand sanitizers, which has led to a shortage in many medical stores across the world.

The number of infected cases due to the novel virus shows no signs of ceasing. Even as the number of cases per day dropped in the mainland, the number significantly surged in other countries.

On Wednesday, US President Donald Trump cavilled that due to protection measures against coronavirus, he is not able to touch his own face.

Trump was in a conversation at the White House with airline executives and administration officials on sanitary measures taken to try and stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Trump then joked: “I haven’t touched my face in weeks, in weeks! I miss it!”
